he's lost, he's getting schooled, he makes no adjustments, he doesn't try anything different

OKC plays so damn ugly, two man offense and matador defense

and Westbrook is simply not one of the best point guards in the NBA, he's great when great, he's horrible when bad, and he makes his teammates worse whether he's good or bad

SA looks too good to blame it on Brooks - they look like they would have passed the Bulls 70 win season if Pop didn't rest players and limit mins

Westbrook is amazing but he's not exactly a chemistry builder -

if LeBron James or Kobe Bryant in an MVP year were playing like Durant is right now, people would say they are everything wrong with life in the 21st century and possibly need to be executed on national TV.

I mean he is being a total bitch, but he thanked his mom and teammates on TV and stuff so blaming Brooks/Westbrook works better

I know SA is playing great, I think they're going to win it all. But I still think Brooks has to mix it up at some point. Down 20+, team looking flat, same ole same ole

wish the Clips were here, Doc would make sure they had more heart

I think Brooks is an idiot and I'd bet the under 4 more games for his head coaching career in the NBA but when your playing a juggernaut offense and you gotta replace 1 of the best defensive players in the league on the fly its pretty brutal.

Turrible, just turrible! I'm getting real tired of Brooks street yard style offense. Ibaka is hurt but it shouldn't be a 30 point difference. At this point Brooks might as well sit Russ and KD the rest of the series. Rest em up for 2015...

24 shots in 29 minutes

made 7

was a key player in the 2nd qtr run when the spurs went on a run that OKC never recovered from

I'm telling you, I just shake my head

Whatever momentum SA has you can throw out the window right now. Next game isn't until Sunday and that's a lot of time for OKC to think about things. I think OKC lays a beat down on SA in Oklahoma City Sunday night. OKC will be the better team and the more desperate team. The NBA did something stupid here by having this kind of time off within' a series although I understand why they did it. All that matters for OKC is the next game. I will be shocked if they aren't favored. Purely a situational play. Don't discount the importance of having this kind of time off for a team like OKC and the situation they are in.

Why did they do it? So stupid, when in the regular season do teams have a game on a Tuesday and next on Saturday?

The NBA was locked and determined on having the finals start on June 5th. They have to extend the semifinals.

OKC might take one or maybe even two games. But depth is a big issue. And SA has much more of it than the Thunder. It will show down the stretch. This layoff won't make any difference whatsoever in the grand scheme of things..

I wouldn't say he is the worse coach but he isn't that great and pop really is making him look foolish

OKC has no defense so OKC backers might as well parlay it with the over
I think it could be a tricky bet with the over for the rest of the series. For one thing, the books will be raising the totals for here on out. But the biggest problem is even though SA is probably going to get their points, the Thunder may have trouble holding up their end of the scoring. Without Ibaka in there it changes the entire gameplan for OKC. Ibaka's ability to get stops is absolutely a huge part of the OKC OFFENSE because the Thunder are among the highest scoring teams off of the fast break. You can't run a fast break when you're constantly taking the ball out of the basket because a team is having a record scoring night. Another problem is, when Serge is in the game it adversely affects the willingness of the guards to go to the rim. Even when he doesn't get blocks, it affects the way people shoot it. The important thing to remember here is the Spurs are shooting almost 10% higher FG without Serge in the line up. More points for SA less breaks for OKC +lack of adjustments by Brooks = big time blowouts. If whatever Brooks tries for this 3rd game doesn't work after 5 days of preparation, then it's probably not going to work for the 4th game either.
