Me and you just simply don't agree on much. He leads the AFC in interceptions.

Stats don't tell the whole story, you can't tell me that team doesn't have more confidence just because of his presence alone. Stll has a great arm. average talent at best surrounding him too

Over the hill & didn't know when to get out-but in his prime, he was elite.

This will be his last season unless he's a complete & total retard.

I Agree that it gives the Team Confidence, 100% Agree.
Just don't think he is an Elite QB anymore. Good, Yes
Better then we Ever had before, YES

Don't get me wrong, I'm a BIG Jets fans ( 30 + years )

I was one of the 10,000 fans at Hofstra the day he came to first Training Camp.

Not even close. Not even a top 15 qb in the league right now, and the league is pretty weak at that position. He has good players around him. A good OL, a good RB and some good WR's. You can't blame the personnel here. Favre is just not that good of a QB anymore, and people should have known that coming into the year.

Just because this has to be brought up, but how about Aaron Rodgers? Green Bay still booing him as their starter? Doubt you'll be seeing any "bring brett back" signs anymore. It's laughable how much Rodgers has outplayed Favre this season.

Wait until they need a 4th qtr comeback from him. That will be the real test

I've been to two GB home games this year and nobody is booing Rodgers. He got a standing ovation when he took the field in the first exhibition game. Most Packer fans now understand the team made the right decision and the ones that don't will be convinced by the end of the season. Favre is a shell of the guy he was five years ago.

Let's see what the 2nd half of the season brings, but up to now I'd say no. He's had one "elite" game. Some real bonehead interceptions. Not all of it is Favre's fault. Jets running game has been lousy which doesn't help.

The jets are 4-3, they went 1-8 to start the season last year.Favre cost me again his weekend but this team made the deal of a lifetime in getting him as long as he stays healthy.Look at the jets revenues this year and the buzz created around his arrival. You couldn't give away a jets ticket last year probably.

Being an elite quarterback this year isn't tough, but one thing I look at is a guy tough enough to play every week. Some of these quarterbacks have bird bones and are out every other week. There are alot of things I don't like about the way he handled last years decision to play but whatever you say about the guy,he does play every week. The guy is tough,Tom Brady may not even play all next year.

elite? i dont know about that. too many dumbass plays. throwing into double coverage and shit. but then he goes and make spectacular plays too. then you think he's awesome. i'd say he is an exciting quarterback..and his love for the game is endearing.
