Is Brent Musberger the worst announcer is sports?

The other night I was watching a game on ESPN. I could not get into the game due to Brent Musberger's monotone game calling. He shows no excitement and is totally dull.

Tonight at halftime, he made a comment that if the Arizona Cardinals tackled James Harrison that Pittsburgh would not have had time to score a touchdown or field goal. Isn't this obivious?!?!?!

He is good in the right environment. Personally, I think he lives for the Saturday Night Football David vs. Goliath when David is home type games. Musberger does a great job on those games.

As for CBB, it almost seems like he is doing it against his will. Him with Steve Lavin and Erin Andrews can be funny if they get off-topic, but that's about it. He called a Purdue - Wisconsin game about a week ago, and it seemed like he was bored to death.

He's bored in basketball because he's stuck with Wisconsin and their boring team. Basketball isn't as fun as Saturday night college football.

He does CBB for the paycheck, he does CFB because he loves it.

musberger is good when he obliviously got a big bet on the game. i like him personally because he brings up gambling almost every single game he does. i thought he was gonna have a heartattack in the rose bowl when penn st almost backdoored usc, in fact im waitin for the day when he erupts when he loses an enormous bet in digusting fashion and goes off on national tv.

worst announcer for cbb by far is dick vitale, does this guy even know anything about basketball outside of the acc? just sounds like an annoying 70 year old cheerleader to me.

Why do people dislike Madden? The guy knows more about football than everyone here combined and when he talks people should listen. Him and Al Michaels are BY FAR the best commentating duo there is. Michaels is just a legend imo.
