Is Francuer seriously still a starter? He consistantly hits like shit with runners in scoring position. He never moves a runner over, sac fly's, bunts, nothing he is of no use in the lineup and his fielding is just as bad as his hitting has been this year. I mean I cant believe he is still in the lineup.
I always want to give him the benefit of the doubt because he was such a stud prospect a few years back, but I just dislike his game from top to bottom.
He doesn't get on base, he swings at everything, he has one of the worst eyes in the game.. He's a below average defender with an overrated arm.. He has zero speed.. He doesn't do any of the small things that complete a ballplayer as you mentioned..
He's obviously got power and he's still young, but does anybody see him as this phenom he was supposed to be?
I will say this, there are a ton of players in the majors who don't do the little things, who care more about their avg than maybe their obp or more importantly their teams winning percentage, BUT those players hit 300 or even 290 but Francuer dose none of the prviously mentiones. If you dont do the little things you better be batting .290 or be a stud defender and Francuer is none.
