Fromm is not a top notch passer (yet), but is 1,000% better passer than Bryant. And the Georgia running game is superior to Clemson's (especially since Clemson lost it's most explosive RB), though Georgia will have problems running vs Bama... but IMO one or two long runs by Chubb or Michel can change this game.

Bama was very very fortunate, still, with back to back deflected INTs that turned into 14 pts in less than a minute, changed everything, sure they deserve some credit for a top, disruptive D, but those were both very fortunate bounces for Bama.

GA overcame the best O, bar none, in college ball, on soft natural turf that helped Oklahoma protect the passer, it was a wild one. GA had not seen anything like Mayfield and it took a half to adjust to the speed and they sure did, they owned the 2nd half. AND GA has a better O than they are given credit for, and are far, far better balanced than Clemson. Fromm is a smart, accurate passer, poised, plays within himself as a freshman. Has damn good stats, too, not recognized by many, but he does.

This game is on artificial turf and will be low scoring, it helps the D's, and unfortunately might be decided by a 7 point turnover, the kind that is a 10 to 14 point swing like the first Clemson INT. SO, not a game to bet big, I don't care which side you are thinking.

I like GA + 4 but not going big against Bama and Saban and their mystique.

I could be wrong and out of touch which is almost always the case but it just seems to me the public has grown tired of the success of Saban and Alabama. Could it be the public is betting/rooting more against Bama than they are for Georgia?

+1 you are not out of touch my friend.

Saban lives for this shit. This is his moment and he’s perfected it. Georgia will learn from this game to set themselves up for a National title at a time yet to be determined. Georgia will get schooled by a better coach.

to what scale i dont know but your Definetely right. my local always has a ton of action against the tide simply because people dont like them. people are gonna bet on the national championship and super bowl and they are gonna bet on the team they are gonna cheer for. people where im from hate alabama, so he is heavy on georgia. he was as well in the clemson game. its regional of course but people definetely bet with their heart the more meaningful the game

Even on ESPN this past year I haven’t noticed as much goo goo ga ga from College Game Day about Bama. Before if it wasn’t for Herbstreit slobbering all over himself on Urban Meyer it would be him having a bulge in his pants about Saban.

And even during the playoff game against Clemson it just seemed to me in observance that Saban was hardly shown or talked about by the announcers. It just felt like they were pulling for Clemson. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know and it’s probably just my thinking.

I for one am a fan of success. Saban and Bama to me are successors. Georgia on the other hand is just not used to this stage and historically have known to be chokers in big games. Now it is true they’ve won big games to get where they’re at, no denying that, but this is “THE” game. Good Luck to Georgia for I have no qualms or don’t like them enough to just “root” against them. I just believe Saban has proven himself at this point and I’m going to go with to me is the better coach and slightly better team.
