Is anyone else experiencing rising gas prices?

Prices bottomed out here last month at $1.66/gal. Now they are up to over $2.00. I'm thinking that had something to do with oil prices going up at the beginning of January. However, oil prices are now down drastically so hopefully gas prices will go down too.

Maybe there's a lag time. I'm thinking the prices are going up now because of the oil prices at the beginning of the month going up. Hopefully this means that toward the end of the month we should see cheaper prices since oil went back down.

I'll bump this thread in a couple weeks.

The prices have been steady at $1.73 for regular unleaded for about a week now in Maryland.

know if the thirty cent a gallon price in-cress
was from the slow down, Gas here was $147
a gallon and now $187
