Is 5Dimes really the only book that offers this wager?

5Dimes offers action on all NHL games if they will go into overtime or they will not go into overtime. See the 5Dimes example below.

Wed 11/16 3 ARI/CAL goes to overtime +275
10:05PM 4 ARI/CAL no overtime -335

My question.. Are there any OTHER books besides 5Dimes that offers this wager. Offshore, Vegas, Reno.. anywhere! I'm screwed if 5Dimes decides to cut me off or reduce my limits. I need another book that offers this type of wager. Can't believe 5Dimes is the only book out there that offers this action. Thanks!

At Bet365 you can bet on a tie, but I don't think you can bet AGAINST one. Currently they have ARI/CGY at +285 and PIT/WAS at +265

yeah Pinnacle has bets on both sides of a tie as well. If you're american just get a VPN?

Unfortunately neither The Greek or Pinnacle offers this type of wager.


The Greek only offers Spread, ML, Totals, and Over / Under.


I contacted Pinnacle and below was their response.


Dear Client,

We do not offer this exact type of wager.

However, our offering in NHL consists of the following:

A first period market, mirroring our baseball first five inning product (but without the "buy sell"), with a money line and a total.

A market for the whole game including both overtime and shoot out. Herewe will have a spread (minus one and a half goals), a money line, and a total.

A market for whole game (regulation time only). Here we will have a spread(minus .5 goal), a money line.

Regardless of the number of goals scored during the shootout, for bettingpurposes the final score for the game will give the winning team one more goalthan the score at the end of regulation time.
