Who do the mercenaries work for? They are not military soldiers (any more).They work with the military,work for private enterprises mostly.

I'm quite aware they aren't classified as soldiers. Don't tell me you're going to say that blackwater et al are there just doing jobs the military shouldn't have to do?

I recall contractors being in charge at aboughraib and giving orders to soldiers there; being not tied to the military code, they couldn't be prosecuted contrary to their subordinates

there is a difference between jewish and isreali. the 2 are not synonyms. maybe the iranian jews don't support isreal (not all jews do). most hasidic jews(the ones that wear beards, pais, and black hats and coats) don't support isreal. and i'm sure the iranians jews don't either.

i'm an american jew, not isreali. i wouldn't move there for all the money in the world.
