TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran's supreme leader told the visiting Syrian president Sunday that the United States may inflict immediate damage on the Middle East, but the region's nations will "inflict the biggest blow" upon America.

State-run Iran radio carried Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's remarks, which were made during a meeting with Syrian leader Bashar Assad, who was making an unexpected visit to Tehran for talks with Iranian leaders on the US-Iraq crisis.

radio: the people who are turning a blind eye to the evil in regimes like Iraq, North korea and others, the people who cannot detect a scintilla of moral difference between governments established by free people whether they are democracies or not and those regimes where murder and total suppression of freedom is their primary method of staying in power, and those people who are so gullible and misguided as to actually believe the United States is the answer to your question.

For those people, I genuinely feel sorry.

The General, did you mean to answer my question?

Jazz,
Have you considered that it's entirely possible that democracy is a social evolution that cannot be forced upon people?

>reason to invade

Is not "reason" relative and debatable?

So, prevention and/or preemption could be a "reason" -- Good!
