So after having for a little over a week. Im pretty happy with this thing, after jail breaking and adding installous I can get any app from the app store for free. But now that I've downloaded iBooks and my better half has been on I more then myself.

Probably the best invention in the last 10 years.

I was going to say the DVR for cable and satellite but it may have been a tad longer than 10 years.

I got the Sony Tablet myself. I needed to use up my Sony Points before some of them expired at the beginning of the year.

It is a little different from the Ipad as it uses Android. But it does have an app preloaded that allows me to control all of my devices like my DVD player, DirecTV box, TV, and stereo receiver. Funny thing though it doesn't control my PS3 with built in Blu-Ray. Go figure?

I already own an Iphone and it is jailbroken so I figure an Ipad is just a larger size Iphone that you cant make phone calls with.

I am looking for more uses for my Sony Tablet as it has a tendency to just sit idle on my nightstand. I did find a way to save me about $15-$20 a month by getting my comic books online for free and transferring them to my tablet.

Does anybody have any good ideas or apps they can share that makes their tablets more useful? When you watch the commercials you see them using the tablets for all sorts of shit like designing basketball plays, charts and graphs, editing and creating music etc...
