Iowa is the better team and should have won the first meeting but choked down the stretch. The other problem for Iowa state besides the lack of depth is the lack of size. They have no shot blocking and really nobody taller then 6-6. Hoiberg is a great coach so he can usually get by with that but if they play another good team that will be exploited by a good coach. Still good value though because they rebound it well for their size. How about Iowa though, going into OSU and winning. Nobody does that. I am not sure ANY team in the country should be laying more then 3 points to them on a neutral court. They can play with anybody. If they figure out how to finish games look out. Deep, talented, athletic, well coached, experienced.
I don't doubt Iowa state can make a run. Wichita is good value too because they will probably be a 1 or 2 seed because of their schedule and they are tenacious and probably motivated from last year.
