Congrats, although they still aren't better than the Illini, and the committee will agree when they get a 4 and Illinois gets a 3. But enjoy this one, they played well.

The committee is stupid, it should be Illinois #3 and Iowa #4. The big ten tournament just wasnt that big a deal for Illinois and I don't think they were particularly motivated...unlike Iowa and Michigan State. I felt that way before they played. The Illini will be pumped and ready to go for the ncaa tournament and will go to at least the sweet 16. Iowa will not make it past the second round. I also look for Michigan State to have a good tournament - will definitely give UNC a good game and will probably beat them.

Neither team, like ALL the teams in the BIG TEN, are NOT a legit top ten team.

Illinois, Ohio State, and Iowa are all three anywhere from the 12th to 25th best teams in the nation.

The Big 10 Tournament wasn't a big deal for Illinois? Why would that be? it sure as hell should have been. If they won the thing they likely would have been a 2 seed. As it was they showed up and got beat right away. I don't want to hear about motivation, they simply lost.

The ACC has won all 7 of the challenges including this year when the ACC was down. The Big 10 will never be as good as the ACC. Ohio State might be as good as any ACC school the next couple of years but the league will not be.

Because taking the TWO MAJOR sports(football and basketball) into consideration, they are WITHOUT question the GREATEST conference in the nation over the past 40 years and YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT in these two sports.

No conference can hold a candle...........nuff said.

Ohio State won in football last year and basketball this year. Michigan often has good teams ib both sports. Florida usually has good teams in both also. Texas and UCLA too.
