Wow Jarbo what a surprise that you are on Iowa!. Would never of thought you would like them.I remember our thread in the begining of the season when you said IOWA was going to come to Tempe, Az and beat up on ASU.

:coffeetim

I must admit IOWA fans are solid and they do travel well but man the look on their faces when we were just taking you guys apart was priceless.

good luck!

Yep it was the worst game in a long time. This is for Floyd of Rosedale. I am not always betting on Iowa. In fact when we played Iowa state I bet on ISU!

Won the bet and the Hawks won the game, a perfect day.

Too bad ASU can't beat anyone else.

Minnesota has proven to be a fraud...everywhere but AT HOME. They can still pound the hell out of the ball on the ground, and will do so here and get that cover.

BROCK- The Hawkeyes are tremendously stout against the run!

That is their strength as a football team.

They have 2-4 future NFL players on the front seven......which includes a possible 1st team ALL-AMERICAN in Matt Roth at DE.

If the game were at Kinnick, i would lay -10 on Iowa, being in Minneapolis, I have to lay -3 on Minnesota.

I respect your opinion.........promises to be a hard fought game.

By the way, the IOWA qb Tate is blossoming into a bonafide Heisman candidate in future years...............love this kids ability and spunk.

Can't beat anyone else? they are 7-2 and lost to USC & CAL, and most likely end up 9-2 in holiday bowl. For ASU I will take it considering what has happened the past few seasons.

I had not seen the thread. Thanks! I can't believe anyone would be betting or following Iowa HS playoffs.

Prophet, Maybe the Hawks will get another shot at ASU. I know the Bowl tie in's probably would not allow it but I would love to see it.

BTW my Uncle is a retired Prof in the college of Business at ASU so I do follow them somewhat.

What is moving this line the wrong way? I thought by this time (Friday night) it would be down to pick.

I HAVE NO IDEA!

But I am going to search both teams OFFICIAL site forums AND I am going to call no less than 5 different people at the game in the next 2 hours and see what I can find any importance on this game.

PS- Understand that Iowa will have 60% of the sold-out crowd at the Metrodome on their side.

FWIW I know of no new injuries or suspensions etc that would hurt Iowa. They have been playing up the Kinnick North angle however and reminding everyone about the Iowa fans tearing down the goal posts at the dome 2 years ago. Minnesota coach and players have been down playing it, so my guess is it is a big deal to the Gophers.

Ferentz knows all of this. He will remind the team of Ariz. St. game who had a grudge against Iowa as well.

This is different, minnesota has pissed the sason away ( again). I see greta emotion early, then the hawks will pound on them. By half the Gophers will be done.

IOWA has two starting OL out for this game!!!!

Elgin and Gray

Unfreaking believable!!

I still like IOWA in this game........especially now that it looks like we will be gettig +4.

This is going to be a VERY VERY emotional game on both sides of the ball for both teams.

But man, MINNY is like 105th in the nation in pass defense and althouth Minny has a tremendous running game, Iowa is very very strong vs. the run as I mentioned before.

MINNY is 1-10 ATS in their final game of the season if favored.......if that means anything.

The Hawkeyes would love to win this game to set-up a HUGE game at home with WISKY next week.

Isnt IOWA just the better team here??

I think they may be...........the OL injuries are a major concern, as well as Minnesota players and fans being pissed for what happened two years ago here when the Iowa fans took the goalposts UP THE STANDS AND OUT OF THE DOME COMPLETELY!

Those are my TWO main concerns involving this game.
