Intriguing prop at Oly (first AL team to score 13 runs)

There are 15 teams in the AL. Therefore, all things being equal, true odds should be 15:1. There would have to be a compelling situation to take the 10:1 that Oly is offering on most teams with this prop.

The Toronto Bluejays are opening a home series against the Tigers on 4/5, opening day. (Toronto will get to play the Tigers in the cozy Skydome twice before some of the AL teams even get to take the field). The Tigers starters had the worst ERA in the AL last season. There has been no improvement. Toronto had one of the best offenses in the AL. They will be playing at home in the Skydome, so if there is bad weather, the dome will be closed. Most of the other AL teams with any offense are opening in potential bad weather sites with teams with legitimate 1-2 starters. Here, the Tigers have none. Toronto will be in a good situation to be the first
AL team to crack 13 runs. If they don't, they will be in the same situation with anybody else. I liken this to a 100 meter dash race where Toronto gets to jump the gun.

Under the heading of "if something seems to easy......" If you read this prop CLOSELY is states...1st team to score 13 runs EXACTLY. This means that the prop is a bet on which team will be the first team to END the game with EXACTLY 13 runs.

This IS a great prop...Dont be suprised if tons of books copy this one...To bad the Yankees vs Tampa Bay wont be allowed in this prop...I would have jumped on the Yanks to do that first.

guys, here's what we should do...cut oly out and have a little fun:

get 30 guys together and each put in $50. then randomly assign each guy a team. the first team to hit 13 runs on the nose gets $1500.

can't get 30 guys...get 10 guys and give them each 3 teams.
