Milwaukee Bucks @ Oklahoma City Thunder (-2.5)

Well not much good things can be said about either team from last year. However, I do like the spot the Thunder are in tonight. The Bucks are going to struggle throughout the season, as evident as their 9 game losing streak dating back to last year. The Bucks are coming off a 26-56 .317 season from last year and have failed to impress early in the pre-season going 1-7, 0-4 on the road. The Bucks have now lost 8 straight games on the road vs. the Thunder franchise. The Bucks just played last night in Chicago and lost by 13 points. They now must travel to Oklahoma City overnight to play the well rested Thunder. They committed 30 fouls in last night's game sending Chicago to the FT line 44 times. While the Thunder haven't had a good pre-season, nor are coming off a good season from last year, they are opening their 08'-09' season at home as the new Oklahoma City Thunder. This team and and city will be fired up for the opener, and I look for the Thunder to coast in tonights gets as they pick up their first win and cover of the season.

Well if you took a favorite yesterday, there was a very good chance you lost as 10 of 12 underdogs either won outright or covered. Those days happen, and no one is perfect by all means. One play for tonight.

Houston Rockets @ Dallas Mavericks

The total in most places opened up at 193 and now has dropped a full 3 points to 190 with my book. I like the over in tonights game. The Rockets played a defensive game yesterday, but with the addition of Ron Artest this team is going to start putting points up on the board, and averaging triple digits on the season very shortly. Also with Jason Kidd having a few games under his belt with Dallas, I look for Dallas to come out and put some points on the board tonight. More so of a gut feeling tonight with this play, not a whole lot of stats to back it up. But both offenses are powerful and capable of racking up triple digits on each side. I'll side with the over in tonights game. Good luck!

Sacramento Kings @ Miami Heat

Both of these teams opened their regular season play with a loss on the road. The Kings losing 98-96 against the Twolves, and the Heat losing 120-115 against the Knicks. However I'm from the New England area and get every single Knicks, Celtics, and Nets game on TV everytime they play. And despite the loss, I saw alot of good things from this Miami Heat team. The Heat had 5 players score in double-digits, and Michael Beasley is not one of those 5 players. Beasley had a horrible night shooting, but I look for him to bounce back here tonight with the Heat's home opener. Another thing I liked about this team is they took chances, attempting 23 3-point shots. They only connected on 6 of them, but they still despite missing alot of 3-point shots stuck to it. Had 2 more of those 3-point shots fell in, we would have a different ball game. The Kings leading scorer from last season was out performed by 2 of his teams on opening night. And although I see Kevin Martin leading the Kings in scoring tonight, I look for his teammate to have a bad game. When the Kings will be in tough times this season, they will look for Kevin Martin to carry the load. That's what the Kings will have to rely on tonight, as they play the Heat in Miami's home opener. The Miami Heat beat the Kings last season on their home floor 107-86. I look for much of the same tonight. Also note, the Miami Heat are 18-4 ATS versus the Sacramento Kings since 1996, including 10-1 ATS at home in that time frame. Take the Miami Heat tonight, good luck!
