The only time I watch TV anymore is for the news and I can get that faster on the Internet. TV programs are coming out a couple days after they air on hulu.com.

Television. I'd miss the internet a great deal, but I grew up watching TV and wouldn't know what to do without it! Sad but true.

I think a lot of us here are just the opposite of OMT. We would be lost without internet. Actually I am this close to canceling cable, only watch 3-4 hours a week.

Reminds me of the South Park episode where the town didn't have internet. Good stuff.

I can do a hell of a lot more things with the internet than with the tv and even better , WHEN I want (not when something is on....yeah of course I could tape it IF they are showing it)

I can buy stuff, plan trips, work, do any kind of research I want.......

when I was a kid , the key to knowing things was to have good encyclopedias.......now EVERYONE has access to lots and lots of info (and some ....REALLY BAD info....but oh well )
