IMO, still going strong as there is to much oppostion to the Kyl bills and bills like it...

also I think "possible" regulation of it to an extent or on the road to it

Many speak of regulation, but fail to mention any details. What will change if the industry is somewhat "regulated"?

I personally do not see any changes taking place, nor do I want any changes. Things are fine the way they are.

What's the over - under on the # of different icons that Dante will have in 2004?

I make it 11.5 (-1.15)

Thousands of people who gamble online are voters and if internet gambling is banned then votes will be lossed and they don't want that, come next election!

The real question is, what will I Gaming look like TEN years from now?

My guess is, it will be omnipresent, all government's will have their hands in it and it won't resemble anything we see today!

I've been surprised by how strong the poker sites have become and can only see more rapid growth there.

Otherwise I believe applications for PDA's and other portables will enable both casino gambling and sports betting while on the move e.g. while commuting. This style of gambling will have more impact in Europe and parts of Asia than in the US.
