This is the last day of the second round and we saw scores total just 107, 139 and 122 in the last round of Group E on Sunday. Serbia lost 91-80 in their last game to Spain but has qualified for the knockout round while Lithuania needs a win to advance. I guess we have a 60% chance these two stay under the high total of 152. Of course, there is a 40% chance we get get plenty of points.

Nice comeback by Lithuania. They were down 33-19 at half but came back to make it 68-66 and cover the spread.

These two are playing in the finals. They played a 101-83 (184) game last week. Croatia is one team that can score with the USA. as they reached 84 and 91 in their last two playoff games. USA played Greece 82-76 yesterday and scored 86 in their previous game. It does concern me that we may get a low scoring 4th quarter if the USA is ahead by 15 or so but hopefully, they can score enough to go over.

These two are playing in the finals. They played a 101-83 (184) game last week. Croatia is one team that can score with the USA. as they reached 84 and 91 in their last two playoff games. USA played Greece 82-76 yesterday and scored 86 in their previous game. It does concern me that we may get a low scoring 4th quarter if the USA is ahead by 15 or so but hopefully, they can score enough to go over.

Lost this game as it ends 79-71 (150 points) even with OT.

France is 3-0 and their games have totaled 100, 97 and 113. Poland is 1-0 and their games have reached 97, 104 and 123. France is favored by 10.5. Looking at their last games (113, 123) they have been into higher scoring games. All we need is a 58-48 type of game to get over this low total.

Turkey has played games that totaled 120, 104, 129 and 123 (against the USA). Chile has struggled to score. They did play an under with the USA that reached 147 points (total was 149) but their other games totaled 105, 112 and 111. The over/under of 127 is low for a men's game that lasts 40 minutes but that is my suggestion.

Yep, been eyeing that one big-time. All Chile games have gone under. They simply can't score. And, what's even more crazy, is that all of Turkey's games have gone under.

You know what's even crazier is that Turkey's games have gone under by an average of about 23 points PER GAME!!!

This may be the under game of all the games. Chile has had several 5 minute periods where they score 0 or just 2 points, lol. If you followed the live odds on the game against Switz, after the 1st quarter the adjusted game total had dropped by almost 10 pts after just that 1st quarter.

The problem with the US game was that the US is extremely potent offensively, hence all the points they dumped in and how that total got close to losing.


Total is now at 126. I'll jump in. Problem is they're limiting the amount to bet on this.

Also understand the concern with the very low total, but this total actually reads way too high.



Maybe 63-48.... or maybe Chile a little closer ... 63-52.



Edit: Line is about -29.5. I'm rating Chile too high those predictions. But I don't esteem Turkey the way books do. Maybe 20-pt win. Who knows? But points few.
