Since the 2006 SB

At least 1 of the teams to make the SB was in the top 3 in total yards on offense or total yards on defense.

That is 10 straight years

This season: Denver lead in total yards for the defensive side and Arizona lead in total yards on offense.

If this streak continues we will have either Denver playing in the final game or Arizona or even both.

Also since 1989 SB

There has not been a larger streak of over/under for the SB than 3 in a row

We are riding a 3 game over streak for the SB

My GUESS is we will see.......

New England vs Arizona

My picks for this weekend

New England -2.5 (-125) & Arizona + (waiting for the line to hopefully go up) Season record 20-14-1 ATS

Seen the referee assignments. Ed Hochuli AFC game and Vinovic for the NFC game.

Denver is 7-0 since 2000 when Hochuli is the official. Manning is 0-6 when Vinovic is the referee. Well that raises an eyebrow for conspiracy theorists.

Referee Bill Vinovich has been head referee for 5 post season games and all 5 games have gone over the total.

Do you have Brady's record against these two?

Guess it's a good thing for Newton that Hochuli isn't doing the NFC game

Why I like New England... We all know Peyton is one of the best to play quarterback in the NFL but have you seen his throws this year? No zip on them what so

ever and he was 2nd in the league with 17 INTs but only threw 331 passes. Brady threw nearly double the amount of passes (624) and less than half of the

interceptions. Let's call it like it is. Peyton has played bad this year. Now the Broncos have the #1 rated defense as far as yards allowed per game in the regular

season so why can't they rely on that to beat New England? If you look at teams in the past with #1 rated defenses that got to the SB you knew without a

doubt that their defense was very good. Seattle 2013,2014 Baltimore 2001 TB 2003 Ravens 2001 Pittsburgh with Troy and Harrison in their prime along with

Dick LaBeau calling the plays. New England before Brady was great they had Bruschi and Willie and Rodney Harrison. When you think of Denver do you say to

yourself they got some studs on defense? Yes Miller is good but Ware is over the hill, Talib is hit or miss, Harris is alright but banged up. I just don't see a

defense that can carry an average to subpar Qb to the big game. New England does not have a running game and Belichek knows that. He will not force the

running game but instead dink and dunk the ball which is equivalent to a 4-6 yard run. Then you have the best TE to ever lace up cleats and Edelman who has a

rapport with a Qb like no other. There defense is good not great but they don't shoot themselves in the foot with stupid penalties. This year I have seen some

special teams misques which is odd for a Belichek team. It's been a great ride with one of the best to play but Manning can't pull this one off even in Denver.

Damn that last post is all jacked up Here's why i like Arizona..

Rivera coaches not to lose too many times. Arians is not afraid to take chances and trust his qb to make a play or trust his defense to make a stop. Palmer finally

won a playoff game and I think he will play more relaxed than before. Arizona has the best back of the 4 teams. Yes Carolina is good running the ball but a lot of

falls on the legs of Cam. If Carolina had Benjamin this year I would like them to win this game but relying on Ginn and Olsen will not be enough. Peterson will take

away Ginn leaving the burden on Olsen. Arizona has too many weapons for Carolina to overcome. I still am not sold 100% as a pocket passer. I am not sold on

Rivera as a big game coach. Maybe they prove me wrong on Sunday. I like Arians style and Palmer is slinging it this year. Their defense is top 8 against the pass

and run.

I'm starting to have doubts about the New England pick. If you think about it Manning this year is 9-2 this year (included the SD game where he came in the middle of the game) and only 1 lose at home. Of those 2 loses how bad was he injured? Manning has had 7+ weeks to rest his foot and arm for that matter. I don't think this game is a slam dunk and I'm rethinking my pick.

The last time both underdogs won SU in the conference championship game was the 80-81 season. Philly was only a 1 point underdog against Dallas

Football reference had the 2001 conference championships being the the last time both dogs won SU.. Showing the Ravens +6.5 when they upset the Raiders in Oakland, and Giants +1 when they beat the Vikings.. However I did did notice NYG was -2.5 according to vegasinsider. So I can't say which was the correct line.
