Seems like a lot of speculation, but old Dick has been know to keep his thumb on the pulse of the political scene. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts after reading the article. Morris is a hack and has no current relationship with Hillary or Gore. Neither is running, no way, no how, simply not happening. Speculation about it is just stupid.

The one to watch is Wes Clark. Bill Clinton the other day said the National Dem Party has two stars: his wife and Wes Clark. Let there be little doubt who the Clintons and their machine will be behind after Clark enters the race within the next 9 days.

Wes Clark is going to win the nomination and this hack Morris doesn't even mention his name. Morris is out of touch.

D2, I think Wes Clark would be a heck of a candidate. He is a cut (or several cuts) above the 9 candidates now. But to say speculation is stupid, at this point I would disagree with. Its too early. Its still 4 months until New Hampshire. Clinton himself didn't get in until October. You know how it is on the landscape of politics, things change quickly. What looked like a sure thing 2 weeks ago, might not look that way 2 weeks from now. Also I think there is 1 star of the Democratic party, Bill Clinton.

I think dirty Dick's speculation on the election of 04 is a good possibility. Scarborough mentioned that as well last night on MSNBC as well.

These demis running now are toast in the general election. Makes me almost proud of Bob Doles run in '96. I would not be one bit surprise to see Hillary in there in the future. Hilliary's people will get it done, behind the scenes, if she wants to run .

Once again Dick Morris shows his hackishness. Morris has poo-pooed Clark's candidacy. Clark will be announcing tomorrow surrounding by an all-star cast of former Gore and Clinton advisers. Word also is that Hillary may directly back Clark's candidacy. If Gore or Hillary had any chance of running these people woul not jumping on Clark's bandwagon. Clark already is getting support from Congress, particularly Charlie Rangel, who is prediting a Clark victory. In addition, several huge labor unions delayed their endorsements specifically stating that they wanted to see if Clark joined the race. Democratic leadership, led behind the scenes by the Clinton network (if you will) is going to coalesce around Clark to be the anti-Dean and as a candidate that can mop the floor with Dubya. Clark is going to be the best thing to happen to the Dems since...well...since a long long time. Expect the scared Republicans to start the smear campaign early and often. Not going to work, but they'll try. It'll probably start out saying that he doesn't have a chance as a late entrant and that he's a novice blah blah blah and will get more nasty as time moves on.

I think Bush himself may be registering as a Democrat to vote for Dean.
