Why is it never a problem for deposits via InstantCheck, but when it comes to withdrawals they want faxed/emailed ID, utility bill, voided check? If the deposit goes through, why all the paperwork necessary for a withdrawal to the same account?

I just used my first Instant Check with Poker Stars. Took right away, but I haven't tried to make a withdrawal. As a matter of fact, I haven't tried to use a dime of the money yet.

i argued with **** about this some time back. from what i remember of their explanation, there's a law that requires them to do so to ensure that they're not sending money to terrorists. or something like that.
