I unserstand what you are saying about Smoltzie. He is a Great pitcher no doubt. Patterson has better stats "this" season.
I realy liked Patterson last outing as he gave up 1 ER 1 BB and had 13 SO.
No doubt the Braves will be a Public selection, and i might should have waited as the Public will drive the number higher probably before post time. Washington 0-5 at home this season and they gotta win one sooner or laters there, they consider Patterson their Ace, and we think he can hold the Might Braves bats down. I look for a real low scoreing affair here also. Believe it or not Washingtom might have the best of the Bullpens too.

Washingtons Soriano delievers not 1, not 2, but 3 home runs to defeat the Publics choice Atlanta Braves. Washington snaps home looseing streak! Petterson pitched a materpiece for 8 innings as the Braves get 3 in the top 8th to tie. Soriano lifts his thrid home run in the bottom of the 8th after Washington took a 4-3 lead of the evening to break the game back open again.
As i have mentioned lots of baseball games are deceided in the 8th and 9th innings.

I thought your National pick would go down but the others ones looking quite solid but with egg on my face (Braves self destructing in the bottom of the 8th inning) you swept the board with an awesome 5-0.
