Here are the initial BCS Standings:

I think it is comical that Ohio State is ahead of Florida. Penn State is also too high considering their schedule so far. Oklahoma State has played a better schedule by far. Even their I-AA opponent they faced was superior to the one Penn State faced.

Besides the fact I don't see them being undefeated when the season ends, Penn State imo has a tough road to climb. The teams in front of them & right behind them all have better schedules the rest of the way. So if 1-2 can stay unscathed in the loss column from where they sit, I think they finish out of the top 2.

Texas still has #6 Oklahoma State, @#8 texas tech, @#23 kansas, a&m, and big12 championship. Alabama has @Tennesee, @#13 LSU, Auburn, and SECC. So its likely both will lose at some point...

All PSU has to do is get past @Ohio State this weekend and its smooth sailing until the title game since there is no big10 championship.

Yeah but those other teams are right around there so any of them jumping up & continuing on hurts them. I don't think they get in.

And what exactly are you basing these comments on?

Who should be ahead of PSU? Certainly not any of the one-loss teams. Ok. St, with that defense that allows about 35 ppg? Don't think so...

My knowledge of the teams. My comments were based on what will probably happen by bowl time. Penn State's schedule is quite weak from top to bottom & that will play against them in the long run.
