AOL provides you a FREE website.

I have an EBAY STORE for my website.

That may all you be looking for.

With the EBAY STORE you can accept credit cards through the use of PAYPAL.

Piece of cake.

I have a netsolutions web site, it cost me a couple hundred a year including holding my domain. Now I only have about 10 pages so it may be more expensive if you are looking at something bigger.

wunderdog- could I see your website? to get an idea if its in the ballpark of what I need?

I have no idea what hosting means , I guess I would need maybe 6-8 pages just showing the products I sell, and info on them...I have no idea about the pricing...thats why I asked

Why don't you just get broadband and host your own? Your traffic is unlikely to be significant enough to piss off your ISP.

Your upstream won't be the best, but again - your traffic will likely be minimal, so big deal.

Just my $.02.

Shoot me an e-mail at phaedrus_rx "at" mailvault "dot" com if you will ... I can help you get hooked up with a fully-enabled e-commerce site, from domain reg to merchant accounts, for very cheap.

Phaedrus, Mind if I take you up on this offer to email you as well.

Im looking for a primarily NOT USD merchant account. Id be shooting for EU, and Sterling, as well as Canadian and possibly USD as well.

US based merchant accounts and processing is easy to find, but have you dabled in other currencies?

Feel free to contact me at the address above. There are lots of merchant systems that run on multiple currency platforms, usually offering the main "trade currencies" -- CHF, EUR, GBP, JPY and USD -- all in a single account.

As long as you're staying away from gaming or porn, Yahoo Merchant Services is inexpensive, and completely integrated. They use the largest credit card processor in the world. Why fool around with any of the smaller companies? Set-up fees are usually discounted and include domain reg, etc.
