Not true, they are just dramatic announcers and get excited for whatever team is doing well.

The first two games in Cleveland they were all over the Indians balls and they will again if they do something good (like the first three innings).

dead on post... they shouldve let hughes pitch til cleveland scored their fifth run (if they would score 2 more) and have joba and rivera for 2 inning both if need be for tomorrow because wang will be on short rest...

Farnsworth and Vizcaino are extremely unreliable. Anything can happen with them. Even with a big lead, the Indians bats could have gotton something going.

I think it's time for Joe to go. He just does not know how to use his pitching staff any more. Chamberlain threw about 40 pitches tonight. IMO Torre panicked. The good news is that Rivera breezed through the 9nth. Will be interesting to see who Joe picks to start tomorrow.

How can you possibly say that after Joba got into so much trouble in the 8th? One swing of the bat and it was an 8-7 game, in fact Garko put a great swing into it and was 10 feet from a HR.

That was in Joba time. What would have happened with Farnsworth or Vizcaino on the mound in that inning? It could have been a disaster.

You play to win the game, and worry about tomorrow IF it comes. They could have brought in Farnsworth or Vizcaino in and after they created a mess have to bring in Joba anyways. Better to use it as a preventative than to wait for trouble. Perfect managing in my opinion.
