Line movement has never meant anything to me in the MVC. I've hit 62% over the last 10 years and have never given a shit if the line movement disagrees with me. Usually I just laugh at it. You make some fair points, but I'm on IN St and not wavering.Don't take this as being critical of the play, I just enjoy kicking this stuff around. SoIl has lost its last four games, but three of those losses came to the three current best teams in the conference: Evansville, Wichita State and a rejuvenated UNI. The loss to Loyola isn't good, but ISU hasn't been impressive either: Losses on the road to Loyola, just beating Drake (and not covering), and then losing to THE worst team in the conference at Bradley.
However, if the number has dropped to three, it's headed in the right direction and I might still take a shot at ISU. The MVC is more of a challenge to handicap this season because there is SO much mediocrity and outright sucking--and this comes from an MVC fan! GL to all.

Tatum and Falker and the white kid that could jump and shoot. Lowery turned down Michigan after that season. He was waiting for a real big time job, and then just forgot how to recruit and coach.can you remember the cash cow that SIU was with that awesome team that got nipped by Kansas in the sweet 16. Watching Florida win it all was sickening with all those wide open shots . Wonder how they would have fared with a hand in their face for 48 minutes. KU played the game of their life to beat them and had nothing left after that game . Lowery was coaching
