This can't be for real. I mean Indiana has fallen far and should get beat up pretty bad in the Big 10 but I mean Cornell? At home? I don't get it. Any insight appreciated.

Well, we all saw how Indiana almost got beat by lowly Chamanade in Hawaii.

Perhaps the oddsmakers are overeacting to this?

This could be a value play on Indiana. Mike Davis will have his boys ready to play this one.

Cornell is a good play for tomorrow. They will beat Indiana. You're all asking "can Indiana really be THIS bad?", and the answer is yes, they can.

Indiana will have to really be terrible to lose to Cornell at home.

This game is a toss up then, or do you think Cornell will win convincingly?

Is Cornell better than Chamande? Thanks for your input.

HAHA....How long have you been asleep? if you're counting on mike davis having indiana ready to play then you better stick to watching the games and not betting them.

do some homework on the big red. theyve got two of their top guys out right now(Gore and Dale) and have only lost 2 games which were at Siena--a pretty good team, and at St.Johns before mason got hurt(and I still like the Johnnies w/out him). Indiana may start to show some life and win this but the line is not a joke.

I don't think this game is worth betting. My original question was this line. When is the last time a team like Cornell was favored vs a team in any of the big conferences on the road?

I think Indiana if anything. Can't bet Cornell in a Big 10 building even if it is a program in shambles like Indiana.

It's either IU or a no-play.

The fans really back this program (despite the fact that they suck), and are really excited about the future under Crean. Despite IU's lack of b-ball skills, still not an easy task for Cornell to go into Assembly hall and get a W here.

Don't put too much stock in "only" beating Chaminade by 2. (By the way, 2 was the closest they got since the opening tip.) Chaminade this year isn't your typical D-2 school that you should beat by 50 (UNC excluded). They are stocked with D-1 transfers.

Just some things to consider...

This should be an interesting game. I think this game is a toss up right now with the way the IU program is playing, and cornell is no slouch, that team might be an ivy program, but they can play some ball.

oddsmakers surely are giving IU backers a nice line here given that they squeaked by cham, but again like another poster said, it was a two point game, but the score was closer then it actually was.

gl to all here.

First time poster here, but i agree with College Fan. Cornell is missing its top two players, and for IU this is one of the few winnable games on its schedule so I would expect a god effort from them.

btw, yes chaminade has a few d-1 transfers but they only have 7 or eight players on their team. It was their third game in three days so i would have liked to seen IU never allow Chaminade get back in the game in the second half.

Dude, Mike fucking Davis?

Please, kill yourself.

Cornell was a tournament team last year in an opportunity to be the first (and last) Ivy League team to win in Assembly Hall. IU should be getting the points here without a doubt.
