I never liked Bob Marley that much, thought he was overrated just cause the stoners and college kids and occupyer types worshipped him. A lot better raggae out there IMO

I never liked Bob Marley that much, thought he was overrated just cause the stoners and college kids and occupyer types worshipped him. A lot better raggae out there IMO
I would like to know who was better. There sure wasn't any who were more successful. Toots & the Maytals probably comes closest. They are very good, but imo they still couldn't hold Bob Marley's bong when he was at his peak in the mid 70's.. By the way, his Legend is just a greatest hits album. Many of his individual albums are better imo. Especially Natty Dread.

Im not a huge raggae afficianado, but I know what I heard of Peter Tosh I liked a whole lot better
