Guys,
I'm spending the entire weekend in Vegas. Need advice - any suggesttions as to the best sportsbook to spend my time?

Also, I know this is a wide open and stupid question ... but any strong games this Saturday/Sunday that you really like?

I's leaning BIG so far on South Carolina and Ohio State so far tomorrow.

Thanks in advance !!

1. Sports Book at Bally's Hotel and Casino
They have a great bar and a large viewing area. This might be the most comfortable place to watch a game with friends. Right next door you a have other food options and seating allows for pure game viewing or socializing and viewing.

2. The Sportsbook at MGM Grand Las Vegas
With just under 100 TV's to see all the best sporting events and convenient food right next door you could easily spend all day watching sports and winning money on the horses at the MGM Grand.

3. Las Vegas Hilton Sportsbook
I watched a hockey game here with about 100 others fans and it was out of this world. During football season get here early and enjoy your Sunday as you indulge with beers and hot dogs.

4. The Mirage Sportsbook
This is a very nice sports book and it is generally very roomy. It is a good place to catch a game if your significant other would rather do something else at the same time. This 10,000 square foot book is right off the casino so you can easily sneak in a sandwich from the Carnegie deli.

5. The Mandalay Bay Sportsbook
I personally like this place becasue the snack bar serves some decent food. If you want free drinks drop a couple of bucks on a horse. They have 17 monster screens and over 300 places to sit and enjoy a game.

6. The Sportsbook at Caesars Palace
TV's at every table, six 12' by 15' screens overhead and 50" plasma's everywhere else this is what heaven looks like to the sports fan.

7. The Sportsbook at the Wynn Las Vegas
It's plush, it's fancy and it smell really nice. You almost don't want to watch a game at the Wynn Las Vegas Sports Book but the chairs are comfortable and the numerous games being aired make it the perfect choice for a sports nut.

8. The Sportsbook at Bellagio
The kind of place you almost feel ashamed to watch a sporting event in. The seats are nice, if you can find one, and the drinks are hard to come by unless you bet big.

The Wynn may be the nicest to go too but Caesars Palace is probaly the best place to watch games, drink, etc. MGM is quite decent also..

The Hilton is great because they have a moneyline on almost everything. I notice that they even have more options on sports like MMA. As far as the nicest, Wynn or Mandalay.

And for the drinkers in the crowd...

Hilton and most MGM properties (Bellagio, Treasure Island, etc) have free drinks but the waitresses are VERY VERY slow. Best bet is to tip her 2-3 dollars on the first drink and tell her to "bring one every time" and she probably will.

Harrah's books and Venetian are pay per drink and they are EXPENSIVE if you don't have drink tickets. I got one drink and it was 12 bucks.

My personal favorite is Hilton if you can get a good seat. Bring something to leave in your seat when you get up as people tend to jump on them if you aren't guarding it with your life.

PS: Don't waste your time with the Hilton "free football party" it is a huge ripoff. Seats are awful, drinks aren't free (tho the beer is cheap) and the place is crowded, hot, and stuffy/stinky. Stick to a "real" sportsbook.

top dawg

i think going to vegas by yourself is a great idea. that way you get to do whatever you want. just be careful drinking in the casinos as they pump in oxygen and you wont feel drunk until you get outside. that s when the hookers try to either get you take them to your hotel or steal your wallet. just lke any big city be aware of where you are and dont get too wasted.

BOL
i love the MGM poker room
