Agree.
The pass interference and defensive holding calls are the most inconsistent, the worst, and have the biggest impact.
DB's have mastered the art of barely,, carefully grabbing a receiver's closest elbow prohibiting him from extending his arm fully, just enough to ruin the catch.
Some days the refs let them play other days they call everything between DB and WR/TE's.

Only thing I can put my finger on is MANY more camera angles and high def, which can practically show you if a player has a cavity.

Refs today are horrible, I agree. Ironically, Tom Hill wears 97 was my coach / gym teacher in high school. Been in the league ~10 years or so.

Cant disagree with these comments!

It's because the NFL is crooked. It is an entertainment business disguised as a legit enterprise.

NBA is just blatantly bad. I think a lot of it has to do with advent of HD and improved viewing. We now have the ability to rewind a play, zoom in, multiple angles. On top of that the leagues increased scrutiny as to what is a catch, what is pi, etc. So people have this idea that the game has become increasingly crooked.

When Houston gets the first down by a full yard on third down and the ball is sent backward, then gets the first down by a foot on fourth down then gets sent backward even after replay, you start to get suspicious.

As for the NBA, when the wife of a star player tweets that the league is rigged for money, it makes you wonder...
