Sharps are jumping all over the value on Kerry.

The majority of online sports gamblers are white males, most with some money. That demographic is largely republican. The Bush line has been inflated the whole time with books getting action from the demographic above but not getting the buyback from the democratic voters who are less likely to place these type of wagers. The majority of Kerry money is gamblers betting for the value, while the Bush money is partisan wishful thinking.

hedged

I got on kerry at +165 just after the first debate. I figured that the books' clientele is so heavily white & male that they would shade the line that way, just like they shade the lines on big public sports teams.

I've just hedged out at +240 on Bush so a nice risk free profit. I don't want to see a bunfight over dimpled chads or whatever develop and cause me to regret not hedging at such a big price.
