Pedro did not have a good playoff tune up appearance tonight. Has to be a big concern for the Mets. NL playoffs could be a lot more interesting with him struggling.

They just stated Piazza has had over 100 stolen base attempts on him...has only thrown out 10% of would be stealers...of course Cards don't try stealing and hit into ham and eggs.

well it was taveras, who has a good chance of beating it out, and almost did.... awwww shit what a catch by pitt's centerfielder duffy, could be a game saver...

i was playing poker knowing det was trailing...to see kc up 4 is like a gift from the heavens...can they hold the lead though???

thats the big question....

fwiw, twins manager has said santana's next start will in game1 of the alds...so much for him pitching on the final sunday "if" the game has meaning...i have to agree with his decision though...he has to throw in game1
