Ok-here we go.
First of all for the purposes of my response, even though the concept of mail-order brides as was originally defined way back when
and became a pretty much-antiquated term for reasons I stated last night in the 70's(including the
emergence of international matchmaking agencies such as I successfully used along with millions of other men and women),
I am going to allow you the use of the original definition for the simple reason that there are SOME women(far, far from all) who are
simply looking for a meal ticket to the US and will marry just about anyone to get there.
In fact, that is why international matchmaking services are so popular because women who want to join this service
are screened by the agency itself before they are accepted for membership.
Now back to my analogy as to what I deem to be Trump's being POTUS as compared to yours, which imo is full of flaws
including begging the question, poisoning the well, and simply making assumptions and/or sweeping generalizations.
In my analogy, I relied upon the findings and evidence which has been obtained about Trump to arrive at the conclusion
that he has next to zero chance of ever being POTUS again.
I used hyperbole for sure to make my point in the analogy!!
Most importantly as I see it, Trump brought all of the legal and possibly personal mess upon himself by what
he did and said, and the ongoing investigations and possible indictment (s) are a direct result of this.
Just as important as the ongoing investigations themselves and what comes of them is the fact that fellow
Republicans and especially independents are turning away from him in droves as far as his suitability to be POTUS
when they read, hear, and evaluate him as a possible candidate for POTUS and just as importantly as a human being.
The polling data show it!!
Conversely, your analogy simply uses an older man and in so many words says he has to go to another country to find
a wife because he is deemed to be a loser by all women he has met in this country.
That in itself begs the question and poisons the well and most importantly doesn't tell us why specifically why he is in this condition
as I did with Trump earlier.
I mean for example is this man ugly, fat, does he have a bad personality, not wealthy enough in the eyes of potential mates,
have children who still live with him and a zillion other considerations.
Just as importantly, it should be considered that it could be the man who has rejected some of these women for the reasons listed
above and possibly others.
Perhaps the overall values between this guy and potential women in the US are just too far out of sync.
To take the last point a bit further, let's say the man is aware of the fact that in many countries the values of women in general
are far different and a lot simpler and more in accordance with his values than women in the US.
Thus and definitely applies to me, they expand their options and don't limit their search only to women in their own vicinity
and for that matter the entire country and allow themselves to go beyond the borders of the US.
Again, judging by the roughly 4% divorce rate of men who marry women using an international match-making site as opposed
to the 50% existing divorce rate with men and women from, using my criterion and my own success, that there is something to be said
by utilizing this type of approach!!
I could go on and show why your analogy in no way applies to me, but I will save that for tomorrow because this post is quite
long and I want it to set in before going further!!
