Thus poll confirms what I said earlier this week about the SCOTUS decision overturning Roe V Wade being a LOT
more than Republicansvs Democrats in the original polling data for the simple reason that in the original polling data
the independent voting was not cited.
One poster even questioned me about this and stated in so many words that it was about Republicans vs Democrats only.
As you can see here, he was/is wrong, and the independent vote is very much in favor of being opposed to the law being
overturned and why the original poll showed that the 58% of the population being against the law is accurate as I stated.
In addition look at the polling data as it regards women as a whole, many of whom make up the independents, which
show by almost 2/3 that they are very much against the overturning of Roe V Wade.
I am not a prognosticator and cannot predict how this will play out in future elections.
The whole point here is to show that the country as a whole, which includes men, women, independents, straights,
gays, transexuals and any other criterion you want to use is clearly against the overturning of the law.
If anyone wants to contest what I said, please do so.
And to be clear again, personally I am 100% against abortion except when the mother's health is in jeopardy,
but am not in favor of people in the SCOTUS who weren't elected arbitrarily imposing their own religious views
on others by the ruling of bucking it back to the states.
Imo the ruling won't work in any case because if a woman wants an abortion, she will simply go to a state where
it is allowed or get it done in her own state by hook or by crook if it illegal in that state!!
