That said, why not take additional measures to ensure that he doesn't to disqualify him from running such as you just mentioned!!

Using the "logic" and "reasoning" in what you stated, perhaps a homeowner who has lived at his home for 20 years

with no break-ins/robberies or fires at even one home during that time frame shouldn't bother to use and pay for

a security system in his home!!!
