Before I came over to this Forum a couple of years ago other than to see posted picks, I thought that the term "Basket of Deplorables"
that Hillary used when describing a lot of the members of the Trump cult, was just something she said without all
that much meaning or relevance.
All I can say is two years later having read this stuff posted in this thread and the Political Thread, I can understand why she
said it and why it is 100% true
There are lots of examples I could cite, but one need not go any further than this thread to see the best examples of all
with the leader of the pack by far being fpp/sbd.
Think of it- a person who started this thread almost 26 months ago, who has 99.8% failed predictions, most notably
Trump's reinstatement/devolution which he has predicted hundreds of times and which has failed to come true the same number
of times; a person who has ZERO accountability not only for these FAILED predictions but for all of the others; a person
who has these wild delusions that the likes of Hillary Clinton and a host of others of the "deep state" cited many times have all
been executed at GITMO, which is an obvious attention-seeking lie as all of these folks have been seen and heard countless
times since their "executions; a person who claims untold and undisclosed millions of person have died already from the Covid
and this is just the tip of the iceberg because millions if not billions will suffer the same fate shortly(this was actually predicted
to happen last summer, and typically he just moved the goalposts out); also a person who has not gainful employment at least
since he started this thread( I wonder why not lol)and probably a lot longer than that; a person who openly PRAISES Putin, who has no
regard for the value of human life, in this case, the thousands of innocent civilians/men, women children and babies MURDERED
or maimed by Putin or forced to flee their homes in the fear that they are next and along the same lines the massive destruction wreaked
upon Ukraine by Trump's orders!!
In addition, and this applies to lots of Trump right-wing folks not only in this forum but in general-it is the gullibility, naivete of these folks
who perceive Trump as some kind of perfect person, a deity so to speak, who can and will lead them out of their own disappointing
lives, which includes not having very much money, (which of course they can and will achieve because Trump has a lot of it),
as well as their own overall frustration and lack of success in their personal lives.
If you want a glaring example of this, just consider the QAnons, many of whom(along with others thought) they could turn everything
around in their own unproductive lives by simply conducting a coup d'etat on January 6th, could overturn the results, and reinstate
Trump s POTUS and bingo, just like that they would have all the success they longed for in their up to now fruitless and unproductive
lives including wealth that they could only dream about.
In conclusion, all I can say is thanks to fpp especially as well as other members of this thread and Forum for corroborating
that the Basket of Deplorables does exist, is still alive and doing quite well!!
