I am in a generous mood today for some reason.

knowing how important it is for you to post in this thread and forum, this is what I have decided to do if Trump announces

his candidacy and DeSantis announces his afterward or even before which I doubt,

Anyways, if for any reason Trump is disqualified from running for the nomination or changes his mind between now and decides

not to run between now and the 2024 Republican Convention, from my end the bet is off.

However, if Trump announces his candidacy and DeSantis does not announce his any time between now and the Republican

Convention, you win as stated in original bet.

Thus I win only if Trump and DeSantis run against each other.

Unless I am missing/forgetting something, I have given you at least some advantage in this bet.

Imo if it is not disqualification that does Trump in, it will be because if he announces his candidacy, he will realize that he has virtually

no chance to win because of the overall opinion of the American Public that wants no part of this guy, which will result

in his withdrawing from the race probably with some kind of "documentation" from his doctor not to run to save face

and to "justify" it to his supporters!

A number of things in no particular order are going to do Trump in.

The notable ones are

1) His well criminal activities, some of which will either lead to conviction and disqualification.

2) The American Public as a whole in the aggregate will be even more tired and sick of this guy even more

than they are now.

At age 78 they will want somebody new, a bit younger, and a more respectful and decent human being to relate to.

Along the same lines don't forget that when Trump first emerged in 2016, there were quite a few folks who were

not old enough to vote then but who will eligible in 2024.

While this probably won't have much effect on middle age people who were middle-aged people back then or older

people back then, imo it does change the dynamics quite a bit as far as new young voters perceive BOTH Trump and Biden,

namely as people who could their grandfather, meaning they want someone who is closer to their own age and with some

charm and at least some charisma.

Imo anyone who thinks that stuff like this didn't have some affect on the electability of Reagan, Clinton, Obama and

even back in 2016 is deluding themselves.

How one packages himself/herself or how he/she is packaged by their campaing campaign is my opinion is very

important.

Obviously at this juncture, what I stated is pure conjecture and cannot proven one way or the other and is my opinion

only.

We will just have to see how it all plays out!!
