I suggest you stop right now if you don't want to know my reasons for this because the remainder of this post, which may be fairly
lengthy, as it will be my last post and any interest in this thread for the next two months.
Anyways, it is now July 4th.
For me, July 4th is important to me for two major reasons outside of the holiday significance.
The first reason is that it makes the first anniversary of my return to this thread after an absence of around six months
when I was maintaining my own thread regarding fpp/sbd's failed predictions.
Around May of 2021, I stated very clearly that if fpp/sbd's many predictions that Trump would be reinstated/devolutioned
by July 4th, which he designated as a day to be "remembered for centuries," did not come true, I would close down my
own thread for all intents and come over here and confront him.
Well, I did as promised and I am glad that I did!!!
The second and actually more important that July 4th is important to me is that although the calendar says that Summer starts
earlier in June, for me Summer effectively begins on July 4th and ends on Labor Day even though again the calendar says
it is a little later.
I say this because Summer is by far my favorite season with the warm/hot weather and all of the wonderful outdoor activities that it
brings as well as things to do such as vacations, day trips, etc.
Unfortunately because of Covid restrictions, I was unable to partake in these trips for the last two years.
This year I intend to make up for it with things I was precluded from doing up until this year.
For example, for the last two years, my wife and I were unable to go to Lancaster and the Sight and Sound Theater
to see their first class live biblical theater, and to visit with the Amish, which we both love!!
We will be going there for four days in August and already have our tickets and accommodations.
We are also going to do lots of her stuff like the great day in Boston a week or so ago!!
Keep in mind also that where we live, Summer is relatively short with the best months easily being June and July!!
In short, one must make hay while the sun shines!!
Besides the above, summer brings and has always brought me to an overall state of mental bliss!!
I could go on but hopefully, you get the picture.
To the point-with the above in mind, in a nutshell, I intend to enjoy this summer and not be distracted by anything.
The distractions in this thread include reading and responding to Groundhog Day predictions such as Trump,
is going to be reinstated/devolution and that it ie imminent;2) Covid Vaccinations don't work and that billions of vaccinated people
are going to start dropping like flies any day; more bs about arrests and executions at GITMO which never happened or will\
happen;3) Trump is "perfect," had no involvement in January 6tth, will get the Republican Nomination for 2024, and romp
to victory in the 2024 Election; being told every day how bad and unpopular Biden is which we all know already, etc.
If attention-seeing repetitive stuff like this for whatever reason(s) floats their boat for whatever reason, well good for them-
I am not interested in either reading or responding to it over and over again because it is summer and the reasons stated!!
There are other related reasons why I feel particularly good and about walking away from this thread for two months:
1) The great job the January 6th Investigative Commitee has done with exposing Trump so far and especially with Cassidy
Hutchinson's bombshell last week.
2) My own personal satisfaction when fpp/sbd challenged stating that he never stated that Trump would be reinstated
by the end of June, and I produced the post that he did say it and in essence, once again shoved it up his ass!!
3) Assuming that they stay on during my "savage"acal leave, I have the greatest confidence that the regulars like wilbur,
schmirt, habsburger, and less regular folks who do a truly fine job here in exposing fpp/sbd and his cohorts will continue their fine work!!
Oh yes although this thread will be on what amounts to ignore until my return on Labor Day, I will be logged into the Forum
and the sports services to look at the latest update picks.
OH YES, BEFORE I FORGET THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION AND ONE EXCEPTION ONLY TO MY ABSENCE.
THE EXCEPTION IS IF TRUMP IS REINSTATED OR DEVOLUTIONED BETWEEN TODAY AND LABOR DAY, SEPTEMBER
IF THIS SHOULD OCCUR(lol), I WILL MAKE A BRIEF COMMENT CONGRATULATING FPP/SBD and the others for being correct
