During my early morning phone call this morning my advisor and I decided to take some more money off the table,
I would be lying if I said that despite my selling some covered calls and stock before it got to this point, I am still considerably
down especially in the portion of the portfolio I manage which is heavily into tech stocks.
However in reality with me anyways I keep things in perspective and realize that paper losses don't have any influence on
my everyday living, family or health, and that in time, which is all that matters, is that historically speaking based on the history
of the market eventually all of the paper losses will be recovered and then emerge into profits.
From a person who has been investing on his own and/or with the help of an advisor for over 50 years, I urge anyone who is invested
to hang on IF you can, are long term oriented and do not any of the money presently invested to use for present necessities in your
