If this is true, lets hope so.

This is true.

Keep the emails flowing guys. There is some positive steps being taken. Let's hope this works out. Even if the bond is not released today or tomorrow, our best bet is yet to come.

I believe the bond will cover all the post up money. They own the building they are in and they also own all of their equipment. The only people that would come before the players would be the employees. They have been paid up until 2 weeks ago. My educated guess is the amount oustanding in "Post Up" is around 380. I suspect there is a ton more credit owed. Credit has nothing to do with the bond though.

Also, please understand that even when the money is released, the paying of deserved players will not happen overnight. It may take weeks or months, but at that time we will know whether we are getting paid or not.

Has anyone verified the existence of the bond. Some of said that panam never actually posted the full 500k bond. Rater what was required was that they post up a fraction of that amount, and every month money had to be set aside until the amount set aside was 500k. SO the actual amount available may be far less. But if the government is really prpeared to make them sell thier building and equipment, than I would imagine most would ultimately get apid, though it would take a lot of time.

I have spoken to 2 government officials that have both confirmed the bond. I guess they could be lying but I would doubt it very much.

In the numerous conversations with government officials has anyone asked what exactly this alleged "bond" is?
Is it 500k of cash that was posted with the government? I doubt it. Is it a performance bond issued by a legit insurance company? I doubt that too since no insurance company would guarantee a quasi-legal business in a third world country.
Is it a legal claim against escrowed assets held by a third party bank or financial institution? If so, what is the nature of the asset? Who holds it? How will it be liquidated to pay claims? Who has the authority to liquidate it?

My point is that this word "bond" is bantied about on this board and people are supposedly inquiring about it with gov officials, yet no one is posting any detail or proof that such a thing exists. Next time you are talking to a government "official" about BP's bond, ask the above questions. The answers, or lack of them, will tell us all we need to know.

Ms. Rose was spoken to again today. The investigation against BetPanAm starts now, meaning they will go in and get account balances and player info. Posters need to make sure they send in their account balances and account numbers to Lizzy. She wont respond but she is getting the e-mails and she is going to print them out and match them to the accounts. Make sure you post your exact balance and account number. It will be checked so don't put 5 dimes when you are owed $500. This is important for the future release of the funds. Looks like the Panama Govt is going to do the right thing here.

This will not happen overnight. It will take time. Please be patient.

You can thank Scotty for most of this help. He is the one down in Panama arguing your case to the gaming commission and getting some progress.

So does this mean that the "investors" gave up?
Why are they still open?

Thanks for the updates

There are some crooks in Panama laughing their assess off because they believe we all are that gullible. If it's come to this then why is the govt' allowing them to still operate and take in deposits. So fvck giving Scotty thanks he is just as guilty as the "so-called investors". Ask Scotty if he's getting slow or no paid on his paycheck or is he staying to rip more people off out the goodness of his heart

. No one who represents BetPanam has addressed this matter yet all I continue to see is fluff regarding this issue.

It doesn't mean they gave up. It means the Gaming Commission is going to pressure them to get the ball rolling. If not, the Commission will hopefully do the right thing.
