I would like to clarify strongly that an earlier thread that I started meant in no way to diss or bash Pinnacle Sportsbook. I simply made a comment that I went from a 7% to a 4% rebate on my horses, and I wanted to find out if the bets were comingled into the pari-mutual pool. I stated that if the bets were not going into the pools, that 4% was still a great deal. For those people here who know me personally, they can all confirm that I am one of Pinnacle's biggest advocates. They remain in my top 3 books, and I see no reason why they will ever drop down. Anyone who deemed my question as a bash doesn't know me very well. the last book on the planet I would bash is Pinnacle. I am sorry if I assumed that everyone was cut down to 4%. Perhaps I should take that as a compliment. If anyone can clarify whether they book the bets or put them into a rebate shop, I would appreciate it. Other than that, I can't wait for football, as I will be firing it up with the boys of Pinny!!!

knish you are 100% wrong! As a rule, they put all money into the pool.
Weekend-alki,I have tested them many times with different accounts and have seen the exact money that I bet, put into the pool.
And as you said they still are a great account.
Everyone should have a Pinny account.

Apples and oranges if there ever was a case. The rebate is based on volume win or lose, sports action has no such rebate and simply goes into Pinnacle's chart for any particular game. The chance of them cutting back the sports action of Weekendalki or any other sports bettor with their operating model is next to zero.

Wilheim you are 100% right.
Weekend-alki more than likely your horse wagers are probably at a race track where the take out on WPS is very low.If this is the case Pinny will not be receiving 7% which means they would be paying you more than they receive which would make them lose money.Pinny hates to throw money away.Thats why there at the top.

Assuming that they did in fact cut you down to 4% 'Alki, while keeping it at 7% for everyone else, then they deserve to be bashed.

Greenhead...I dont think so....explain this to me...when I bet $500 to show in to a lesser track at Pinnacle where the whole show pool is $1000 and odd dont change..thats enough proof for me and this happens all the time.
My 7% was cut to 4% and 3% at NY tracks also tells me that Pinnacle wasnts the option to dump if they deem your action sharp.

Actually, Pinnacle does occasionally boot the sharps - it doesn't happen very often, but it does occur...

Knish,Im not here to get into a pissing contest with you.I know what Im talking about.
To summarize.
You say Pinnacle as a rule doesnt put them in the pool. That is just wrong.Actually the opposite applies. If your a loser than theyll keep your bets.
Knish then you ask me why the ODDS dont change when you bet 500 to SHOW.With out being too rude the odds only change on WIN bets not show bets.
If your still convinsed your money doesnt go into the pools read paragraph 2 again.Maybe you fit under that category.
Remember what I first wrote,I wrote as a general rule they put all money into the pool. You wrote the opposite.

Thrillseeker you are correct.I have first hand knowledge of this, unfortunately.

You need to have a friend go to a small track, thgen you place a 500$ show wager and have him watch the movement. It'll show up obviously if they enter it in a pool. Unless its entered in a pool at a different country.

General and all others. All you have to do now is use common sense.
If your down to 4% its becouse the race tracks your playing rebate less than 7%.And since Im using the word rebate, that means money is going into the pool.
