IMPORTANT MEETING TAKING PLACE IN VEGAS!!!!

NEVER in the history of offshore sports betting has there been a meeting of venues that promote sports books. I'd like to give special thanks to Russ from Major Wager for his effort which has made this come to fruition.

After speaking with many operators over the past few days, representatives from the following sites have indicated to me that they would be participating in this meeting, which will be held in Las Vegas in mid August...

Russ from Major Wager, Sting from Gambling911, John from Sportsbook Review, Roberto from The Offshore Wire, Covers, and several people behind TheRx.com, including yours truly will be included.

Although this is relatively a small sample of people when one thinks about the entire Internet, it is a good start. Additionally, I'd like to "officially" invite ALL WATCHDOG companies, ALL gambling portals, and ANY concerned poster.

Some of the challenges we will be tackling include:

1: Choosing a committee that would handle disputes between sports books and gamblers

2: Electing Officers

3: Establishing CRITERIA that would call for a sports book to be removed from all participating venues in the event of a slow pay/no pay

4- Defining Slow Pay

5- Coming up with some sort of insurance or guarantee for players to feel more secure when
sending their money offshore

I think Buzzsaw is jealous becuase Roberto Castiglioni uses a scientific approach to rate the sportbooks not an elementary school method.

A few years ago, some sports books pulled this off when they all agreed to use a 20 cent line...

It didn't work, lol...

I am hoping that the parties who participate will agree to certain criteria that will be used to help make gamblers feel more confident when sending moneies to sports books that we endorse on our respective sites...

It is definitely worth a try...

There needs to be some type of regulation in the jungle out there...

I believe we can and will make a difference...

great idea.. but it has been said so many times that lets do something to protect the players and everytime the player still gets screwed... it can't be that hard to come up with a way to insure players monies.. its all the credit and the degenerate gambling owners which make's the business not legit... ihope u succeed cuz i am sick of seeing the players gettin screwed for bad management..

If you read my post carefully, this invitation is not only out there for watchdog sites, it's intended for anyone interested in helping us restore some credibility to this industry, at a time where it is desparately needed...

We wouldn't have sites such as this one and major wager if it weren't for posters and gamblers who provide us with great information...

Will there be minutes kept at this meeting? Basically what I am asking here is will the board be able to know exactly what is said and decided without personally being there. I would like one objective non watchdog type at least. Someone like Kiss1, or D.Parsons. Someone to represent the players interests...Best Wishes...OF

perhaps the meeting will also discuss sportsbooks associations with rogue watchdog sites...

I would think books would want no part of these fly by night sites that spread hate and lies all day long....that should be on the agenda as well...

The Major, Roberto, Sting and You contributed to helping this become a reality and not just an idea...

I already see how some posters are trying to divide, but that was to be expected..

All posters/gamblers are all welcome to participate and so far, several sports books have called to congratulate us on this giant step forward...
