]Press Telegram reports - Bryant's court hearing in Eagle, Colo. this Thursday is scheduled to last a full day, and the Lakers are proceeding as if that will be the case. Under that scenario, Bryant is almost certain to arrive late for Thursday night's game at Staples Center. "Until (Bryant) gets into Staples, Kareem Rush is going to start. That's simply the way you have to play it out," HC Phil Jackson said.

Sam Cassell Back downgraded to "?" Thursday vs Los Angeles.

The Star Tribune reports - Point guard Sam Cassell watched his teammates go through a practice sesion on Wednesday. Then, he told reporters that his availability for tonight's game remained a "game-time decision." After Wednesday's workout, HC Flip Saunders went to the brink of saying Cassell will not play tonight.

Kobe will be there before tip-off 100% guaranteed. One thing these sleazy lawyers know is not to infuriate die-hard Laker fans that would be crazy enough to hunt them down if Kobe was delayed and the Lakers lose a playoff game.
