Dont be silly. Chargers will not go to the superbowl. Colts OT D commited way too many penalties in OT.

Yeah the refs threw that many flags. Ron Winters saved there ass on that drive. The holding on 3rd n 10 was just a garbage call:shocked:

Every call on that drive was legit.

I do think they were inconsistent both ways though and they did miss a lot of stuff.

All calls were legit...but the NFL took every chance they had, to make sure SD didn't get screwed again.

Rivers is a gutsy QB but, he looks hurt after every play...maybe he's taking lessons from LT the glass ballerina.

SD will get wiped out next weekend in Pitt or Tenn.

Unless the zebras keep helping them. OK, yeah SD was screwed in
week 2, but this is going too far.

that 3rd and 8 when they called the "defensive holding" on the CB was very questionable. that's a non-call in the nfl playoffs. it went both ways and i was actually waiting for an OFFENSIVE pass interference call because if there was any penalty on that play, it was on the WR.

There've been plenty of "questionable", Def Holding in the playoffs. Two years ago Indy got a call PI in the Endzone late in the 4th. That Phantom call got Indy into the Superbowl. These calls do happen and the refs decide for whom and when, it's part of the game.

As to the one on 3-8 tonight, I think it was ticky-tack shiiite but these calls always look that way. Unless a receiver is tackled by a linebacker or dropped to the ground by a Db, they always look cheap. With all due respect, Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne have made careers out of those types of calls. Bill Polian is the strongest supporter of tighter Def. Holding Calls in the league.

Well said. It's the playoffs and you just can't throw that flag cause it mainly sets SD up for the game winning field goal.

The Colt's lost that game on there horrible 3rd n 2 on their own 15. Pick up the 1st down and u take a knee to the next round. That play was horrendous.
