kingbill said:Aborted fetuses are still jews because they haven't been baptized yet, isn't that correct? A Christian will have to correct me if that is wrong? Jews don't go to christian heaven, do they? My Muslim friends tell me a prayer has to be said the moment the child is born so they don't stay jews. You christians have some wierd superstitions.
chiefssth said:I don't think so, or at least i've never been told that. Interesting about the Muslims saying a prayer to make sure the child isn't a Jew. I hadn't heard that one. I don't really know what determines what makes a Jew at birth. I guess if your family is Jewish then you will believe the same things.
I'm no expert but I believe all kids go to heaven, not just the ones with the 'right' families!kingbill said:Aborted fetuses are still jews because they haven't been baptized yet, isn't that correct? kingbill said:I'm not Jewish, Christian or Muslim, I was under the understanding that all of the believers in that particular god were born jewish and then made Christian or Muslim via a prayer or baptism.
chiefssth said:I was always taught that it didn't matter who you were or where you were born but if you believed in Jesus and that he was God's son and he died to save you from sin, then you would go to heaven. It wasn't depending on a baptism or anything like that but a personal decision that you have to make and tell God yourself.
