McCain can't win without getting the war on terror or foreign policy or national security back into the forefront and headlines. Republicans know it. Just starting a war probably wouldn't work. But getting someone to attack us or instigate a war might.

Never underestimate the levels that these guys will stoop to win an election.

I'm very worried about this.

Stop with what. I've never posted anything like this before. Ever. But it's something I am now seriously worried about given the economy. I hope I am wrong.

An attack won't happen are economy is already in panic mode, now if we weren't in panic i would say their would be a better chance for an attack.

It would be dishonest to say such a notion has never crossed my mind.

And in my occasional vision of such an event, it takes place here in Florida due to the potential that the state could go Obama by election day.

But if a handful of suicide bombers were to deploy in tandem at three or four key points in Disneyworld, killing hundreds (including lots of children) and the evidence "pointed to" Islamic wackos, suddenly more Floridians are lured into the notion that only a Republican President can protect them from further attacks.

Thanks to George W Bush, weak Americans can mock the threat of terrorism :103631605

and Bardude, I never feared I myself would die, I'm just concerned about the impact such attacks would have on our life if they continued.

"Remember! "We haven't been attacked since 9/11".

LMAO. What a fucking stupid campaign line. I mean seriously, before that were we saying, "We haven't been attacked since Pearl Harbor!"

Anymore scare tactics they can use?

:nohead:

doesn't even know the difference between a sovereign nation and a terrorist.

Furthermore, we put the Japs on the defensive, just like we put terrorists on the run.

Peace through strength. You prefer otherwise, look at the "Path to 9/11"

Must Be the Repubs That Attacked Yemeni Embassy

Al Qaeda suspected... but it must be McCain, right?

#%!^%#&!#

Deadly attack outside U.S. Embassy in Yemen

<!-- END YAHOO BUZZ --> Update at 8:58 a.m. ET: The latest reports cite Yemeni sources who say 16 people, including six attackers, died outside the U.S. mission in Sana.
"The United States condemns this attack," White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe tells reporters. "We offer our sincere condolences to the loved ones of the Yemenis lost in today's violence. This attack is a reminder of the continuing threat we face from violent extremists both at home and abroad."
An embassy spokesman tells The New York Times that the facility has been closed.
"We heard the sounds of a heavy gun battle going on," Trev Mason, a British national, tells CNN. "I looked out my window, and we saw the first explosion going off -- a massive fireball very close to the U.S. Embassy. The gun battle went on for a further 10 to 15 minutes, followed by two further loud explosions."
Here's the statement we just received from Foggy Bottom:
This morning, September 17, at approximately 9:15 local time, the U.S. Embassy in Sana’a Yemen was attacked by armed terrorists. A number of explosions occurred in the vicinity of the Embassy’s main gate and there were several secondary explosions. A number of Yemeni security personnel were killed and injured, as were several Yemeni citizens waiting to gain entry to the Embassy. The U.S. Embassy condemns this attack in the strongest possible terms. Today’s events demonstrate that terrorist criminals will not hesitate to kill innocent citizens and those charged with protecting them in pursuit of their agenda of terror.
The Embassy is working closely with senior Yemeni government officials to investigate this incident. We will rely on continued close cooperation with Yemeni authorities to complete a thorough investigation and to bring the perpetrators of this heinous terrorist crime to justice.

What you fail to realize is that Obama and Mccain are on the same team in the end. They don't need a false flag attack to help anyone win the election.
That doesn't mean we won't see a flase flag attack in the near future though.

We think alike on both points.

I will note that I find it preposterous when either a sitting President or a campaigner for President propose that something they do can actually prevent such wacky murderous acts.

Um. So we should do nothing to secure our borders?

We can certainly exercise preventive measures at our borders.

But even the best border security system will prove insufficient to someone within the USA who is determined to commit a mass killing.

The reason why we have not had a "terrorist killing" within the USA in the past seven years is not because George Bush or any other elected official (either major party) "protected us". Nor is it because our President has spent a couple billion of our federal tax dollars every week killing Iraqis, Afghans and other people in the Mideast.

The reason is because fortunately no one within the over 300 million people who live within the USA has wanted to commit a mass killing.
