I'm thinking of protesting this bailout by not paying my credit card.

unless the bill ends up having provisions in it for homeowners and everyone else that will be paying for the bailout.

im sure once its a day late they'll knock up my interest rate 50 points, flood my phone with calls and threaten to demand payment. heh, kind of ironic isnt it? too bad they don't do that on wall street.

we'll see though, want to see the language of the bill first though.

Don't worry, they don't do this with green dot cards.

a socialist and a democrat are 2 different things pal. im voting for obama because he has more socialistic values. capitalism is the bridge to socialism. obviously that bridge has all but collapsed and were into socialism. it looks bad now because you have a horrible regime in charge and the bridge just collapsed.

i'll tell you what though, this bush regime is giving socialism a bad name. this is venezuela style socialism going on right now. my ideal form of socialism is progressive european countries and a dominant neighbor up north in canada.

Whats new about a democrat not paying his bills?

Do you actually believe that spew? If you do, then there's little help for you.

Personally, I think you may be better than that kind of horseshit, but, then again, I'm no Oracle like you cats are.

Just leave the country. Take your socialist values with you. Why not move to Kenya, they have a lot of poor people. You could give to a lot of poor people there.

the rich are not needed in a socialist government. everything is commonly owned with the government directing traffic. you only need to care about money in the pre-capitalist usa society where you needed money to have any purpose to live.

socialism is about unity, working towards a goal instead of scratching to survive. more laid back, less drama, less moaning and complaining then what we used to be like here with capitalism.

Is it true that most socialists are really just lazy and looking for a reason to
Not work or pay their bills?

So who will practice med, open businesses, build bridges, build buildings, cure diseases, and take risk on opening up new businesses?

The rich aren't needed? Are rich people "lucky" or did any of them get there by hard work, risk taking, and sacrafice?

people who are rich are inherently greedy in nature and like to put themselves on a pedestal above other people. why do you think i'm going to school for a masters degree. i know to have any shot at a decent life in this country i have to play by the rules. i have to become rich by studying in an demand field and put myself on a pedestal above other people.

i dont like that i have to do that, i would rather be on the same level as everyone else, but thats not the rules america plays by. to get ahead, you go to school, and make sure your ahead of the competition by putting yourself above them and put the rest in there place beneath you.

that mindset is alright in capitalist america even though i dislike it; where everything is performance based, but in socialist america that is going to get you on everybodys shit list, which I think is legit.

the goal is to create a united america with everybody complimenting each other instead of you just complimenting yourself. we played by your rules and failed, now its socialisms turn. if you dont like it, you don't need to stay here.

the sole goal of capitalism is to prove you are superior to anybody else. that is not a desirable trait.

Bullshit, if you really wanted to be the same as everybody else, then why go to college to get your masters? That makes YOU greedy. If you really wanted to be just like everybody else, then why get the masters?

Go live in Niger and you can be equally poor as everybody else... You won't even have to sit through some classes and get a masters.

Possibly the dumbest thing you could do as a young man. Ruining your credit rating to get back at credit card companies is foolish at best. You would get more satisfaction in paying off your balance and cutting up your card. If you want to finance a car or get a mortgage sometime than pay your debts. (not like our govt.) Don't be a mooch, you will regret it later in life when you grow out of this stage you are going through now.
