I'm so old and this is no shit my Jr. High School girls had to wear dresses and us guys had to keep our hair a certain length and was a public school.

One game days, meaning if there was a football, basketball etc. that day which was considered an assembly the girls could wear slacks and us guy's could wear sandles.

Then we moved to Hawaii and was like a free for all as I don't think I ever wore covered shoes to school for four years.

I remember that as well. The girls could wear leg-warmers only if the temperature got below 0.

Later on the girls were able to wear "culottes". I had never heard of the word before. These are women's skirts that are divided down the middle to form individual legs but still looked like a skirt. I suppose that gave them more coverage of material around the leg.

I saw Mantle replace Joe D after the injury in 51
I saw the ORIGINAL Sugar fight Jake (he never knocked him down)
Also all 3 Graziano/Zale fights
Listened to the 0-0 tie ND & the Black Knights, Doc #35 tackling Lujack on his way to a TD
Listened to the Ky Derby Arcaro on Citation & Whirlaway
Saw Willie get sent back to the minors by Leo
Remember Teddie & Joe D dominate the sports scene in 41
Bruce Smith wins the Heisman
Tom Harmon NEVER scored a TD vs the Gophers
Starting in 34 Mn beat Mich 9 yrs straight.
Saw the Sheboygan Redskins & the Ft Wayne (Zolner) Pistons play big George the Kangaroo Kid & the Lakers in Mpls.
Betty Page was HOT and Lana was even hotter. Time to depart this mortal earth, just ONE more CFB season. I say that every yr.:ohno:<><>

College Football & Baseball were the 2 big sports of my earliest memories. Army-Navy game was the biggest game of the year and Arnold Galiffa quarterbacked Army to back to back undefeated seasons, was Captain of the basketball team and got on the cover of Life Magazine as the starting 1st basemen of the Army baseball team.

Captain Video was the big TV show for me & my friends father owned a
De Soto car dealership in town.

I remember when radio DJs were cool.

Are you trying to invade 5teamparlays niche by bumping g 10 year old threads ?

Only him and me are authorized to do that, and I do it far less often than he does.

It can be funny when you bump an old one and it gets a lot of new comments and nobody notices how it was resurrected from when Clinton was president or whatever.

It also can make the forum look lame if nobody has anything new to say . I try not to overdo it. I do want the forum to be great again.my X- wife is so damn old that she don't fly out of LaGuardia airport in NYC, she uses Idlewild instead.

Female employee of mine made a complaint on a coworker because he told her that her hair looked nice. Her exact words were any male that comments on her appearance in any way is harassment.

And yes, shes a die hard Bernie supporter....
