I'm shocked at the turnout for the RX's NFL Contest

This contest is beautifully run by BAS and JOH. It's ran better than the WESTGATE with NO fee taken out.

We had 117 paid entries last year. This year they smartly allowed multiple entries in hope of continue to grow it. It's only at 67 Paid Entries Currently. This contest is too well put together to be shrinking. Let's go boys, support this forum. Put your money where your mouth is and let's see who is the best....

I think Kidman had 1... I know the $500 one.. and I posted one, which I still have 2 spots for that Drafts Sunday Night at 8pm ($200 buyin - 100% paid out, including $700 in bonuses)
We should be busting at the seems with these kinds of contest...

I think they should put a sticky in the service play forum and the entries would double.

I would put stickies in that section every single day encouraging people to sign up and post .

Its by far the most read section on the site .

Its amazing how lacking this place is on vision

Also, a friend tried to register to this site last year so he could get into the contest but he was never approved to become a member of this site.

My brother & like 7 or 8 of his friends wanted to get into the RX contest after i explained to them how it works & showed them.last years payouts but none of them are members of the site.

There's gotta be a better way to advertise the NFL & college contests.

We should change the contest...i keep saying it. stop trying to copy the hilton/westgate. Make ours better.

My suggestion has always been to have one 'best bet' every week worth 2 pts (or 1 on a push).

There are other things that can or don't have to be done. Later deadlines. Earlier deadlines. Dynamic lines. Closing lines. Stale lines. etc. We should be creative, make a better product, and maybe supercontest will take a page out of our book

the only issue I have with the contest is the same with the big one.. We should be using lines on Thursday instead of Wednesday...stupid to use a Wednesday line..its not the real line, to many are just playing bad lines imo

I'm personally not joining only because of the deadline. i like to make sunday morning my time to pick/do my fantasy while I'm eating breakfast and soaking it all in. every other day is hectic for me.

i would 100% be participating if the deadline was sunday at 12:59

I also would even mind if you made lines change and if you got it early and it moved in your favor then thats your advantage. however i understand that takes a lot more effort to do.

I will also add that Every Year we get a late rush in the last week .... Some don't want to give up their Hard Earned Cash until the last minute ...

We will be fine .... at Worst I believe we will match last years Pot

I know it's not saying much since we Upped the ante this year... But it's still a Great CASH Contest without any Loop holes

Having the deadline at 12:59 is nuts, there's a reason the plays have to be in the day before in most contests in Vegas......JOH needs time to do all the work within the contest.

My friend never joined any sports forum, why would he have a red flag? Unless he lied to me about not getting accepted......I asked him several nights ago about it & he stated the same thing.

we might think about that for NEXT Year .... The idea of this contest was to Mirror the SuperContest, especially for those that just don't get out to Las Vegas, or don't want to spend $1500 to enter a Contest.

Don't know ... and Don't know who your friend is
Just saying the ONLY reason why we would turn down a New user... other than that, the worst case is they get to start on Post review. That doesn't stop someone from entering the Contest.

Unless your Friend didn't tell the truth to you ??
