Have a great time kermit. We expect a full report and pictures.
I just got back from yesterday's game. It was everything I imagined it would be and much more. We had so much fun and shared so many laughs that I will have to wait until tomorrow to tell some of the special stories. I am exhausted from all the excitement and of course my Ducks fell just a little short which is of course was a huge disapointment to all us Duck fans who have never had a National Champion football team. However I must mention that the Auburn fans and alumni supported their team and out numbered the Oregon fans almost 3/1 at the game which was easy to see from all the Orange in the stands. We started seeing them on our drive from Las Vegas to Glendale from start to finish. I must say that they were a class act and We never encountered any rude Auburn fans who always greeted us with a smile or handshake and a " Hope it's a great game " type greeting. We were of course in our full Oregon colors at all times as were all their fans. After the game We had an Auburn couple that put out their hand and said " Great game, you guys were awesome" . At our hotel this morning at the continental breakfast, I was up early and having breakfast alone and almost surrounded by Auburn fans. I was in my full Oregon colors and almost every single Auburn fans did nothing but compliment the Oregon team and their fans. One woman said that Auburn is so used to losing to their in State rival Bama that they have learned how much it hurts to lose and are always respectful when they win. Very nice as they knew We were not happy campers but We still were proud to be Duck fans. I will share a very special and unique story tomorrow when I have more time.
